A master's scholarship funded by the Government of Japan and run by the World Bank. It is aimed at mid-career professionals with at least three years of development-related work: you pick a degree from the list of participating programmes and apply to that university separately. Uzbekistan appears on the bank's published list of eligible countries.

What it covers
Full: tuition and living costs
The page lists tuition for the graduate programme, basic medical insurance and a monthly subsistence allowance meant to cover living costs. Travel is economy-class airfare between home country and host university, plus a 600 US dollar travel allowance for each trip.

- Other conditionThe bachelor's degree must have been earned at least three years before the application deadline.
- Other conditionAt least three years of paid development-related employment since the bachelor's degree, acquired within the past six years, and a paid full-time development-related position at the time of applying.
- Other conditionBy the deadline you must already be admitted unconditionally, except for funding, to one of the participating master's programmes, and it must be outside your country of citizenship and residence; without such an admission you cannot apply.
- Other conditionYou must not hold dual citizenship of a developed country.
