The American University of Sharjah gives incoming first-year students with strong school grades a waiver of 10 to 20 percent of tuition and lab fees. No separate application is needed: the award is offered automatically at the time of admission. The bar is an average equivalent to 95 percent or above across grades 10 and 11; grade 12 results are not considered.
