A scholarship for studying Indian culture — dance, music, theatre, performing arts, sculpture, Indian languages and cuisine. The ICCR page says the scheme runs globally: 75 places a year with a cap of 10 per country. A further 25 places fund a one-year diploma in yoga at four institutes.

What it covers
Full: tuition and living costs
Tuition is paid to the institute, and the student receives a monthly stipend, a house rent allowance, a yearly contingency allowance and a thesis allowance. Return economy airfare to the airport nearest the place of study is covered. Hostel, mess and deposit charges stay with the student.

There is no common deadline: applications are considered as they arrive, so apply early.
