In Australia you apply to the university first and receive a CoE, then lodge the subclass 500 Student visa through ImmiAccount. The visa English minimum has risen to IELTS 6.0 and the financial requirement is AUD 29,710. Universities themselves usually ask for IELTS 6.5. An 11-year attestat is not equal to Australian Year 12, so a Foundation year is normally needed.

    From 10 May 2024 the financial capacity requirement for a Student visa is AUD 29,710 for an individual student, on top of course fees and travel. Minimum grades and years of school

  • 12 years of school

    Direct bachelor entry follows Australian Year 12 or a recognised equivalent; an 11-year attestat normally routes through Foundation Studies or a diploma pathway.

  • 4 on the Uzbek 5-point scale

    An indicative attestat average for a competitive offer once the qualification is accepted. Providers publish their own.

  • Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from the education provider

    You enrol first and apply for the visa after the provider has issued the CoE; the application is made online through ImmiAccount.

  • English at IELTS 6.0 or the accepted equivalent for the Student visa itself

  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the whole of the stay

    OSHC is a condition of the Student visa and is normally arranged through the education provider.

    The Genuine Student requirement replaced the Genuine Temporary Entrant test; it is answered in the visa application, not by a separate document.

  • Health examination and, where asked for, a police certificate
