What you need to apply

General country requirements

This entry is general Bachelor’s admission in China: the university is in the catalogue but its individual programme pages are not verified yet, so the country's general requirements are shown instead.

Check the university’s own page before you plan around it.

China, bachelor’s

You apply to a Chinese university directly or through a CSC scholarship. Chinese-taught programmes require an HSK certificate, normally level 4; English-taught ones ask for IELTS or TOEFL. Every education document is submitted with a notarised translation, and the Foreigner Physical Examination Form is required. After admission the university issues the JW form, which the X study visa is applied for against.

With an Uzbek attestat (11 years)

Foundation year

The 11-year attestat and the language usually mean a yuke preparatory year first; with HSK 4 already in hand direct entry is possible.

Documents

  • School certificate

The school-leaving certificate, notarised and translated. Read off the Chinese Government Scholarship 2026/2027 call published by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia: an official document list, but a scholarship call for applicants there. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • Academic transcript

The full grade record, notarised and translated into Chinese or English. Read off the Chinese Government Scholarship 2026/2027 call published by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia: an official document list, but a scholarship call for applicants there. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • Motivation letter

A study plan in Chinese or English is required by most universities and by the CSC scholarship.

  • Passport

A passport valid well beyond the start of the course; the photo page is uploaded with the application. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • Photograph

A recent passport photograph for the application form and the JW202 form. Read off the Chinese Government Scholarship 2026/2027 call published by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia: an official document list, but a scholarship call for applicants there. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • Certified translation

Academic transcripts in a language other than Chinese or English must carry a notarised translation into Chinese or English. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • Letter of recommendationOptional

Two letters are required for the CSC scholarship and by many universities; a purely self-funded application sometimes does without.

  • English certificateOptional

For an English-taught programme; a Chinese-taught one asks for the HSK report instead.

  • Financial statementOptional

Self-funded applicants are asked for a financial guarantee or a bank statement; scholarship holders show the award letter instead. Universities name their own amount.

Tests

  • Any one of these is enough

    IELTS 6

Typical entry score for an English-taught bachelor. Not an official figure.

  • TOEFL iBT 80

Typical English-taught equivalent. Confirm with the university.

  • Teaching is in Chinese: HSK (Chinese) 4

A Chinese-taught programme asks for a valid HSK score report that meets its own language requirement. No consulted official page names a level, so 4 is a planning figure for the usual undergraduate bar rather than a published rule — the university's admission page decides.

Minimum grades and years of school

  • 12 years of school

Chinese undergraduate admission is aimed at applicants with a completed senior secondary education. Whether an 11-year attestat is accepted directly or leads to a preparatory year is the university’s decision.

  • 3.5 on the Uzbek 5-point scale

An indicative attestat average. Chinese universities set their own cut-offs and many run their own entrance test or interview.

Other requirements

  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form, completed by a clinic

A photocopy of the completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form is part of the application documents; the visa stage asks for the original. Read off the Chinese Government Scholarship 2026/2027 call published by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia: an official document list, but a scholarship call for applicants there. The Embassy in Tashkent and each university publish their own — check both.

  • JW201 or JW202 admission form and the X1/X2 study visa

The university issues the admission notice and the JW form; the study visa is applied for against them.
