Lithuania funds a yearly batch of state scholarships for foreign students taking a master's degree, or the last two years of an integrated programme, at a Lithuanian university. The 2026 call offered 70 grants and lists citizens of Uzbekistan among the eligible nationalities. You need an acceptance or pre-acceptance letter from the university before applying, because admission and the scholarship are two separate procedures.

What it covers
Full: tuition and living costs
The monthly scholarship equals 8 Basic Social Amounts, which is EUR 592 in 2026, and is paid every month of the study period. A separate grant covers the study cost but is capped at the national standard study price; if the university charges more, the student pays the difference. There is no allowance for family members and the award cannot be combined with other funding.

The call runs once a year. In the 2026 round the online system closed on 20 April 2026 at 16:00 Vilnius time and applicants were told the result by 15 June; the foundation publishes the next round's dates on the same page.
