The scholarship of Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education for master's and doctoral study. The 2026 guidelines carry a list of recipient countries and Uzbekistan is on it. The applicant must be heading for full-time postgraduate study at a Malaysian public university or at one of the listed private institutions.

Full: tuition and living costs
The guidelines say tuition is paid straight to the university for the whole sponsorship period and that a living allowance of RM 1,500 a month is paid to the scholar. The document promises nothing specific about airfare or insurance.

The portal says the intake for the 2026/2027 academic year is closed and that the shortlist is published between 7 and 22 July 2026. No date is given for the next cycle, so the portal has to be watched.
