The Lane Kirkland Program is a two-semester training scholarship at leading Polish universities: it awards no degree but combines coursework, an internship and professional contacts. The competition is open to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. It is aimed at civil servants, lawyers, entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, academic teachers and journalists.

What it covers
Full: tuition and living costs
The scholarship is PLN 25,200, paid in nine instalments. On top of that the programme administrator covers services worth about PLN 4,500 a month: accommodation in Poland for nine months, a Polish language course from October to June, learning materials, health and liability insurance, return travel to Poland up to agreed caps, public transport and visa costs.
