What documents and grades do you need to study in Poland?
Poland asks for a school certificate that entitles you to higher education at home; the Uzbek attestat does, though a NAWA recognition statement is often required as well. You apply straight to the university, and some fields add an entrance examination. Every document is apostilled and translated by a sworn translator. English-taught programmes usually ask for IELTS 6.0 or a B2 certificate.
Foundation year
Before a Polish-taught programme many international students take a one-year preparatory course: Polish plus the subjects of their chosen field. Universities and designated centres run it, and it leads into a bachelor application. The documents are the same as for the degree: attestat, apostille, sworn translation and proof of funds for the visa.

This is the route itself: a preparatory year, then a Polish-taught bachelor. An English-taught programme can be entered directly.

Apostille
A foreign education document must be legalised or apostilled. Uzbekistan is a party to the Hague Convention, so the apostille is the route.
Certified translation
A sworn translation into Polish (or English, where the university accepts it) of every education document.
Financial statement

Minimum grades and years of school
11 years of school
Polish recognition looks at whether the certificate entitles you to higher education in the issuing country rather than counting years, which is why the 11-year attestat is generally workable here.
3.5 on the Uzbek 5-point scale
An indicative attestat average. Universities set their own thresholds and some run an entrance examination where the Matura does not cover the subject.

Other requirements
A matriculation certificate or an equivalent document entitling you to higher education
Polish first-cycle admission is built on a Matura certificate or another equivalent document.
NAWA recognition statement for the foreign secondary certificate, unless an agreement covers it
A recognition statement is not required for certificates from EU, OECD or EFTA countries, or those covered by a recognition agreement, or IB and EB certificates. Check whether Uzbekistan is covered before paying for one.

Master’s
A Polish master takes a completed bachelor degree; the diploma is apostilled, translated by a sworn translator, and a NAWA recognition statement is often asked for. English-taught programmes usually want IELTS 6.0–6.5. Some fields add an interview or an entrance examination, and a CV and motivation letter are common.
