The Banach programme is run by NAWA, Poland's academic exchange agency, and funds second-cycle (master's) studies for citizens of developing countries; the 2026 call lists Uzbekistan among them. Studies may be in Polish or in English, and those who pick the Polish path first take a one-year NAWA preparatory course. Admission to the university is handled by the applicant separately from the scholarship application.

What it covers
Full: tuition and living costs
The monthly scholarship is PLN 2,500, paid for at most twelve months of the academic year. Fees are waived at public universities and on NAWA preparatory courses, while at a private university the fee is settled between the student and the institution. A one-off lump sum for the journey to Poland is paid together with the first monthly instalment.

In the 2026 announcement applications ran until 8 May 2026 at 15:00 Warsaw time, though the call closes early once a country group reaches its cap on applications. Deadlines for the university admission itself are set by each university.
