The master's track of the Open Doors olympiad: you apply online and the selection runs in two stages, a portfolio round and a task round. The rules describe participants as foreign citizens and stateless persons and do not limit the field to a list of countries. A winner gains the right to study at a Russian university within the education quota.

What it covers
Full tuition
Under the rules the winner's degree is funded from the federal budget, and the preparatory faculty for those who will study in Russian is budget-funded as well. Travel, housing and a monthly payment are not promised on the page; a separate government grant is considered only when further conditions are met.

For the 2026–2027 cycle registration opens on 20 August 2026 and closes on 1 November. First-stage results are announced on 13 November, and the bachelor's and master's track winners on 21 December.
