The Fulbright Foreign Student Program sends citizens of Uzbekistan to the United States for up to two years of study leading to a master's degree. Selection is an open, merit-based competition: a technical review, an independent reading panel and an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent. All fields may apply, but the embassy gives priority to artificial intelligence and data science, STEM tied to the critical-minerals economy, nuclear engineering and policy, and space and aerospace subjects.
