Global UGRAD is a one-semester exchange run by the U.S. Department of State: a student takes full-time non-degree study at a US institution alongside community service and professional development. Uzbekistan is named in the programme's list of participating countries. Because it is an exchange rather than a degree, at least one year of study must remain at the home university when the semester ends.
