MIT considers international undergraduate applicants for aid through exactly the same process it uses for everyone else. The institute commits to meeting 100 percent of demonstrated financial need for international students as well as domestic ones. Aid comes as a grant, and the amount follows from the family's income and assets as assessed from the documents submitted.
