Yale runs need-blind admission for every applicant, anywhere in the world, so a family's ability to pay is not part of the decision. All undergraduate aid is awarded on demonstrated financial need as a scholarship rather than a loan. Yale states that its offers meet 100 percent of demonstrated need regardless of a student's citizenship or immigration status.
