What you need to apply
General country requirements
This entry is general Bachelor’s admission in Japan: the university is in the catalogue but its individual programme pages are not verified yet, so the country's general requirements are shown instead.
Check the university’s own page before you plan around it.
Japan, bachelor’s
Japanese universities require twelve years of formal education, so an 11-year Uzbek attestat needs the MEXT preparatory course first. Japanese-taught programmes ask for JLPT N1 or N2 and at least 250 on the Japanese section of the EJU. English-taught ones typically ask for TOEFL iBT 71–80 or IELTS 5.5–6.0. Many universities run their own examination for international applicants or admit on EJU scores.
With an Uzbek attestat (11 years)
Foundation year
An 11-year attestat is short of the twelve-year rule: the MEXT-designated preparatory course must be completed before you may apply to a university at all.

Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU), or the university’s own entrance examination
