What you need to apply
General country requirements
This entry is general Bachelor’s admission in Saudi Arabia: the university is in the catalogue but its individual programme pages are not verified yet, so the country's general requirements are shown instead.
Check the university’s own page before you plan around it.
Saudi Arabia, bachelor’s
An international applicant to a Saudi bachelor applies through the ministry’s Study in Saudi Arabia platform; the ministry writes that the admission requirements applicable to Saudis apply to its scholarship students, and sets an age window of 17 to 25 on that same scholarships page. Documents are attested by the competent authorities the institution specifies; Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are both in the Apostille Convention, so that attestation is an apostille. The long-term study visa asks for proof of proficiency in the language of study but names no test and no score. The platform’s programme search filters by language of study and offers Arabic, Arabic and English together, Chinese, English and French, so the language depends on the programme you pick.
With an Uzbek attestat (11 years)
One year at a university in Uzbekistan
The ministry says: "the admission requirements applicable to Saudis in institutions of higher education apply to internal and external scholarship students". Saudi schooling is longer than the Uzbek eleven years, and the source says nothing about an Uzbek attestat. So the most conservative option is taken: add a further year in Uzbekistan after the attestat — a college, a lyceum or a first university year — before applying; the educational institution makes the recognition decision. The sentence quoted above is written about scholarship students, so confirm with the university whether it applies to a self-funded applicant too.
Documents
School certificate
The school-leaving certificate is the qualification a bachelor place is judged on, and the ministry asks for certificates and supporting papers attested by the competent authorities specified by the educational institution.
Passport
A valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the intended date of entry to the Kingdom.
Financial statement
Proof of financial ability to cover tuition and living expenses or a financial guarantee. The page states no amount, so none is given here.
Apostille
Not checked yetSaudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are both contracting parties to the 1961 Apostille Convention (Saudi Arabia in force 7-XII-2022, Uzbekistan 15-IV-2012), so the attestation of an Uzbek education document for Saudi Arabia is an apostille rather than consular legalisation. The Saudi pages say only competent authorities, so confirm the chain with the institution.
Academic transcriptOptional
The ministry names certificates and supporting papers without listing them one by one, so the grade supplement is part of that set rather than a separately named document. Prepare it with the certificate.
English certificateOptional
An English certificate is what proof of proficiency in the language of study means on an English-taught programme; the visa page names no test and no score, and an Arabic-taught programme asks for Arabic instead.
Certified translationOptional
Not checked yetThe ministry names no translation rule, only attestation by the competent authorities the institution specifies. An Uzbek document is normally submitted with a certified Arabic or English translation, and the institution is where to confirm which language it wants.
PhotographOptional
No page read for this file lists photographs among the required documents. The platform leaves the rest of the file to the institution, which normally asks for passport photographs, so have them ready.

Tests
Teaching is in ArabicOptional

Other requirements
Between 17 and 25 years old
The student should not be less than 17 years old and not more than 25 years for the undergraduate and institute for teaching Arabic language or the equivalent. The ministry states this on its public-universities scholarships page, as a condition of the government scholarships it awards, so a self-funded applicant should check the age rule with the university itself.
At least 16 years old
The study visa pages state that the applicant must be 16 years of age or older, for both the short-term and the long-term study visa.
The admission requirements that apply to Saudi applicants apply to international scholarship students too
The ministry's first condition reads: the admission requirements applicable to Saudis in institutions of higher education apply to internal and external scholarship students.
Proof of proficiency in the language of study
The long-term study visa asks for proof of proficiency in the language of study, except for those wishing to study Arabic. No test and no score is named, so none is given here — the institution names them.
Application through the Ministry of Education's Study in Saudi Arabia platform
Asked where to apply, the platform answers: you can apply through the Study in Saudi Arabia platform at https://studyinsaudi.sa
Acceptance from a licensed and accredited educational institution in the Kingdom before the visa
The long-term study visa asks for acceptance from a licensed and accredited educational institution in the Kingdom.
Medical report confirming freedom from infectious diseases
The long-term study visa asks for a medical report confirming freedom from infectious diseases; the platform's requirements answer repeats it as a medical report proving freedom from infectious diseases.
Medical insurance document for the visa holder and dependents
The long-term study visa asks for a medical insurance document for the visa holder and dependents.
Certificate of absence of precedents from the security services in your country
Among the conditions for accepting non-Saudi international students, the ministry asks the student to present a certificate of absence of precedents from the security services in his country.
Attestation of certificates and supporting papers by the competent authorities
The ministry's condition is to attest certificates and supporting papers from the competent authorities specified by the educational institution; the platform repeats it as attested certificates and required documents per the educational institution's requirements.
Recommendation where the educational institution asks for oneOptional
The ministry's condition reads: the educational institution may require a student's recommendation from one of the bodies, institutions, or personalities specified by the institution.
Approval of the student's own government where that country requires itOptional
The ministry's condition reads: that the government of the student's country approves the study in the Kingdom for countries that require it.
Mahram condition as the ministry's regulating instructions set itOptional
The ministry lists as a condition that he has a mahram with the student, according to the instructions regulating that, provided that he is covered by a grant or has a regular residence or is on the register of an employer in need of his services. The page does not say which applicants it applies to, so check it with the university before you apply.
